OBJECTIVE: As a dedicated student and emerging artist, I’m always ready for the next challenge. I am interested in running and managing a glass studio, as well as looking for opportunities that will enable me to improve and hone my hot shop techniques.
EDUCATION:
- Cleveland Institute of Art Cleveland Ohio BFA,2011 current overall GPA: 3.4+
GLASS EXPERIENCE:
- Studying full-time as a glass major in the Glass Department, CIA / primary teacher: Brent Young (2007-current)
- Studied With Jeff Mack at CIA, One-Week Intensive Class: “Building on the Past” (2008)
- Developed skills helping with running hot shop at CIA (2007-current)
- Glass pieces exhibited in the “Not Quite” gallery in Fayetteville, NC (2009)
- Completed a few commissioned pieces in glass (2008-2009)
- Interned and worked as an instructor at the West Michigan Glass Society in Kalamazoo Michigan. Lead teacher for: Hot Shop blowing, Sandcasting, Casting, Cold-Working, Torch Working, Bead Making, Stained Glass, Jewlery Making. (June – July 2009)
- Glass represented at Geodes Gallery Treemont, Ohio (2009-current)
